Game Management Guidelines
The game of rugby is constantly changing as players and coaches adapt to the rules of the game. Match officials must adapt to these changes, and this process is assisted through the release each year of the Game Management Guidelines. The purpose of these guidelines is to alert match officials to those aspects of the game that require a specific focus. All referees should be familiar with and apply the current guidelines throughout the season.
